The Japan Inspection Organization (JIO) is Japan's most reliable inspection service for vehicles, Heavy Machinery, Equipment, Instrument, and Electronic components as well. Radiation inspection of exporting vehicles

The radioactive leakage from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant after Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, some cases are reported where exports arrived in foreign countries from Japan are subjected to radiation inspection or required to be accompanied by a radiation inspection certificate.

To prevent excessive safeguards taken by other governments, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan is explaining the safety of Japanese products. At the same time, METI advised to the exporters from Japan to carefully watch regulatory developments in destination countries.

JIO conduct the "Radiation inspection" to ensure the safety of vehicle schedule to export from Japan is less than 0.3 micro sievert per hour scale, set by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of Japan.
